The use of livestock with controlled daily movement is an environmentally and economically sustainable way to manage the pasture and improve soil biodiversity and fertility. In the Polyfarming project the management of different animals has been adapted to apply this principle to the different situations that we can find in a farm in mediterranean mountains.
