VISIT TO THE MONTSANT INSTITUTE OF PERMACULTURE

Technical visit (April 20, 2018). A visit to the Montsant Permaculture Institute has been made. The Montsant Permaculture Institute is one of the benchmarks in the Iberian Peninsula on permaculture and regenerative agriculture. Apart from explaining the POLYFARMING project and discussing general aspects of the integration of forestry, livestock and agricultural exploitation at farm level, the visit has focused on knowing the experience of biochar production and its application in the institute. A new aspect that we have been able to know in the institute is the utility of the biochar in the breeding of animals, in particular different ways of introducing it in the feeding of different types of animals
