TECHNICAL MEETING IN BELLATERRA (BARCELONA)

Technical conference “Prescribed burning and grazing for sustainable management and conservation of open mountain areas” (Bellaterra, July 2, 2019) This technical conference has tried to raise awareness of the importance of management and conservation of open mountain areas in southern Europe in order to ensure long-term ecological and socio-economic sustainability. The researchers of the Polyfarming project have participated with a presentation on the project: “Life Polyfarming: application of an agro-forestry-pastoral system, innovative and profitable, to avoid the abandonment of agriculture in the Mediterranean mountains”. Marc Gracia has also participated in the final round table, so that together the public could get to know the Polyfarming project.
