BIOCHAR: INITIATIVES NEXT TO MONTNEGRE I EL CORREDOR. MONTBIO PROJECT

Technical meeting (Sant Celoni, September 9, 2017). The meeting was aimed at forest owners and forestry companies. The characteristics and utilities of biochar were presented. Different projects that are doing biochar participated in the meeting. The POLYFARMING project presented the proposal to integrate the production of biochar in the agro-silvo-pastoral exploitation at the farm scale. Other proposals presented were the production of biochar in insertion companies taking advantage of the byproduct of forest clearing, and the collaborative production of biochar among small owners at the massif scale.
